On Wednesday July 27th James McGill, Ardara, Co Donegal, and Margaret Kennedy formerly of Anhid now resident in Neasden, London NW who were married in St. Maryﾒs church Croom on July 12th 1961 with Fr. Thomas Kerby C.C. officiating. The couple came back to Croom Church on the 27th July to celebrate the Jubilee occasion with a mass of thanksgiving. Fr. Joseph Kennedy officiated assisted By Fr. Eamon OﾑBrien C.C. as many as 40 relatives from England and many parts of Ireland came to join in this particular unique and special way of celebrating their anniversary. Later they all joined together for a reception at the Woodlands House Hotel. Congratulations to the happy couple.
